Isn’t hl a firm that’s pretty deeply concerned with their P&L? They laid off analysts during the beginning of COVID- assuming things are not going to be as active as last year they might not increase
LOL they’re still at 105k, I don’t think P/L is the issue. They’ve been doing well on earnings and beating estimates every quarter… just being cheap
Can anyone at HL actually confirm they laid off analysts at the beginning of COVID. I work at HL and am not aware of any layoffs.
On the original question, HL always follows other banks in terms of compensation. Our fiscal year ends March 31st and would expect them to adjust salaries for juniors at that point.
