William Blair Aerospace, Defense and Government in Charlotte FT Interview Prep

Hello Monkeys,

I just got invited to participate in William Blair first round for a FT position in their newly established coverage team in Charlotte. I have my first round with the campus recruiter manager next week. I was hoping to hear some advice on how to best position myself for the interview given that I come from a non-target in Florida and I have no previous Investment Banking internship. I'm currently interning with a Mezzanine fund and previously of that, I interned with a VC fund in Singapore and in Florida. I know will be competing with other candidates with Investment Banking experience so I want to see how to market myself as a better option that.

BTW I managed to get into the recruiting process by cold emailing the head of the group.

Thanks.
