Winter Internship - Advice

I am starting an internship tomorrow and outside of my daily job curious what else I should be doing to set up a summer internship. I just wrapped up my freshman fall term so have three summers to intern and want to make the most of them.

My brother told me the following:

  1. arrive early and work hard
  2. ask for more work if finished early
  3. network
  4. respect peoples time

  1. Try and complete as much work as you can and aggregate a list of questions. However, you shouldn't be afraid to ask questions, since it wastes everyone's time if you just sit there.
  2. Dress in a manner that reflects positively on your firm.

^^ all of the above agreed and also try to meet other people in different divisions since you're only a freshmen to get a fuller experience / allow your next internship search to be more focused

p.s - Tech Buyout that's an aggressive signature :D
