WM for longevity?

Just finished university (UK) and taking a year off to travel and dick around before starting in the professional world. I’ve had previous internships in consulting (Big4) PE (MM) and at a boutique IM firm. Seeing people talking about failing to hit their exit ops or getting burned out in IB->PE route I’ve been looking into WM as well since I’ve got some time on my hands. Seems like an area with much lower burnout/churn compared to IB/PE/Consulting with ability to pull in mid six figures to 7 at BB or big institutional firms.

Anyone thought about this route / done it and can share their experience or thoughts behind changing over?
