Word on Street- lets hear some stories

In this time of market turmoil where firms are going under and the markets are seeing extreme volatility I say we start a thread talking rumors and other stories going around Wall Street....

I read a story on another site about a Bear employee walking into the office of his boss and finding him rocking on the ground Rain Man style, I feel damn bad for some of these Bear Stearns guys.

I keep hearing people say that the axe is going to fall at UBS and that they are going spin some groups off. A trader on CNBC said he heard the Swiss government is pressuring Credit Suisse into buying UBS, doesn't seem possible.
