Working for a company my dad was previously in the C suite of?

I am a 2nd year TMT M&A analyst and I have a chance to work in strat finance for a PE backed portco that my dad was previously in the C suite of. As such I'd be well connected to the CEO/board from day 1 as a junior. It's not the most attractive industry / highest growth company but I feel the accelerated career development opportunity due to being well connected in the company from early on could make a compelling case. Any thoughts?
