Working in London when the Queen dies

Visiting family in America right now, but the Queen celebrated her 70th Anniversary last week. I must say, I'm not quite looking forward to the hoopla after her death, what with all the mandatory mourning. Essentially society will grind to a halt for a few days, and I'm not looking forward to that. Not sure if the LSE will close. Then after, there will be all the Republicanism debates. Sigh...

Yup, I suspect he’ll be the type of person that centers their life around work and can’t fathom being away or people having lives outside of the office.

I’ve met a few people like that who resent bank holidays and other public holidays before they even come where everyone is off having fun because they do not have anything else to do. They’re a nightmare to have as a co worker.
