working part time while analyst

Hello,

I have an FT offer from an SF investment bank in the tech sector. I have also been working part-time (paid) for another tech business, can I continue this arrangement while working as an analyst?

The business is privately-owned and I would not be bound by a schedule (and can get work done on my own time with non stressful deadlines). I would obviously prioritize any IB work first, and then if time permits work for the other company.

1) this is a bad idea. Have you not seen the posts on work life balance? How people struggle with the stress, etc? And on top of that you want to commit more time to another job?

2) almost guaranteed you will need to disclose it to your employer, many won’t appreciate/approve this. But you should check with your employer.

Why are you thinking of doing this? Is it an interest thing? Money? I would HIGHLY discourage you from doing this.
