Would MSF be my best bet?

Hey monkeys,

Long time lurker here, finally thought it was time I made a post to get some feedback from you guys.

I graduated a year ago from a non-target state school in CA with a degree in economics and finance. Even though it's not a target it is one of the most respected state schools in California, just not for finance. I took a job doing auditing because IB recruiting was non-existent, and frankly am not thrilled with the work I'm doing.

With no real world experience, would getting an MSF from a school like USC or USF help me rebrand myself, and put me in a better position to get a job in IBD? Does anyone know anything about OCR for these programs? Their websites were not very specific about placement.
