Yea... he might be kinda a big deal...

Right?? It's crazy.

Wall Street leaders now understand that they made a mistake, one born of their innocent and trusting nature. They trusted ordinary Americans to behave more responsibly than they themselves ever would, and these ordinary Americans betrayed their trust.

chubbybunnyWhat's so impressive about him? He's from Calvin College. That pretty much sums him up

This is how the "non-targets" of the world crush you Ivies. You think a degree from an overpriced institution stands up to REAL WORLD experience? Not a chance, man.

the real question is where would this guy be IF he had gone to an ivy? probably a lot farther, to be honest.

"Current: Founder and CEO: Typekit, Founding Partner:Adaptive Path Education: Calvin College Experience:

User Experience Manager:Google, Inc. February 2006 – May 2008 Founder:Measure Map January 2005 – February 2006 Director, User Experience:Lycos, Inc. October 1998 – September 2000 Director of Interface Design:HotWired May 1994 – October 1998 Managing Editor:South Coast Community Newspapers October 1992 – May 1994"

I don't get it. I've seen resumes much stronger AND this is an IBD board AND he went to Calvin. I would not want to be him...ever.

In the VC/entrepreneurship community, this guy is mad respected. I would argue that coming from a no-name school, founding successful startups, becoming known as one of the leading user experience designers out there (and one of the leading experts in tech entrepreneurship in general) beats the traditional HYP > GS/JPM/MS IBD > PE and its variations.
