2 offers, what to pick? SA @ a boutique or FT @ a bulge bracket

Asking for a friend. They received a SA offer at one of the top boutiques and a FT offer at a "not so prestigious" bulge bracket. Obviously, if they make it to a FT Analyst at the boutique, the difference in culture, work exposure, and pay will be huge, but at the same time, it isn't safe. What should they do?

U want the guy to ask and clarify the role better.

For sa, look at historical return rates and also ask the boutique if they are flexible to early start dates from ‘graduating early’ which will make a difference (December start).

BB wise, why did this situation come about? Is this a return from a bank or from FT recruiting outright and he was unhappy with it?

Interesting situation to be in! PM if you want help giving more details that you don’t want to share on general forum.
