Hello everyone, I have 2 years till I get into university. What are some things I can do to better my chances to get into a well-known IB

I dont have much time in the real world as I will be serving the army due as it is needed in my country. But anything online could be useful as I will have time there
start a side gig to make enough money to either not have to do IB or flex it in interviews
Any recommendations? Since I am gonna be enlisted into the army6for 2 years with around 2 hours of free time each day
Just focus on following the news and current events and reading as much as possible
Any online resources that you would recommend reading?
Mergers & Inquisitions for general finance/industry knowledge, other than that just keeping up with the news (WSJ/FT)
It’s probably going to help if you state your country, as you’re going to get advice from a USA perspective mainly and it’ll be very wrong for your situation.

General advice won’t be great for you. I don’t want to be a dick but each country is different for IB recruiting so you’re going to need to make a decision on where you want to go before you can receive more advice than “make sure you get good grades and practice interview questions”.
