2022 FT Recruiting

Hi all,

In a pretty tough spot right now. I've struck out of some processes I was in and am still looking for a FT offer. I graduate this May and I'm pretty scared I won't find anything. Are any BB/EB/MMs still hiring for FT 2022? I know off-cycle recruiting can be a crapshoot, but would appreciate any insights! Thank you.

Was in your position years ago when I graduated from college (came off a summer where I had a SA at a boutique shop).

The advice I would have given myself then is the same advice I can give now: Try to land a solid finance role before graduation and look to lateral from there.

I put all my eggs in the IB path and by the time recruiting started to slow down, I was left scrambling for other finance roles that recruited concurrently with IB.

As for me then, I ended up graduating without a job, but six or so months later had two jobs including landing in FT IB (which is a different story for a different day).

Also, your mindset and attitude (in terms of how you handle this) will be key as well going forward.
