A different approach to job hunting
So a friend of a friend of mine is trying something new. They have been looking for a month or so with not many bites.
They decided to put an add in the paper and say something to the effect of "3 years experience in the oil and gas sector, seeks analyst position" or something along those lines. Is this a good approach or a bad approach? Why?
"a friend of a friend of mine" So what kind of paper have you been trying, bro? Maybe try internet ads?
haha, Well to be honest, I don't really know the guy's experience that well. I just know he is in finance and looking for work (same as me).
I feel like craigslist is for people who want to pretty much nothing for whatever they are shopping for.
I've seen people do this on craigslist
didn't people do this 30 years ago?
I see a lot of this on craigslist as well...
There was this guy who put up an ad similar like this to be advertised when you login to your GMail
