Advice: Acquisitions or Asset Management (30yrs old)
I'm currently in Asset Management for a larger Affordable Housing company. It pays well, I can save a good amount, and it's very minimal work. I've got a good thing going where I can kinda come and go, but it's not fulfilling, I'm not learning, and I'm not making the top end of my industry.
I would likely have to change companies to get acquisitions. I think I could probably make a lateral move into acquisitions, which pays more laterally. It would be significantly more challenging in both good and bad ways.
I need to decide work/life balance, or pay/increased skills. Any advice? I'm worried I might not have many hard skills in 5+ years if I don't switch.
