Advice: Do I take the offer
Currently an intern at a BB WM shop, wirehouse (dialing for dollars) layout. Just had my review from my manager and according to them, I’m doing an amazing job. I get work done in half the time it’s taken other people + it gets done amazingly well. Been able to connect with pretty much everyone in the office.
That said, good chance I get a FT offer following this internship. I’ve added a semester to my undergrad so that I can re-recruit for IB and I’m determined that I will be at an investment bank next summer.
Hating the non-technical, FULLY sales oriented style of this job; I couldn’t imagine doing this for a career. It’s honestly f-ing boring and I feel like I’m stealing from clients to make a living.
So, if I get the offer do I take it and almost immediately lateral over? Or… do I use this offer as leverage for a next-summer internship? Lookin for some advice
