Advice for shifting careers

Hi guys, I got introduced to wos when I started thinking of shifting careers and it has helped me tremendously so thanks to all those who contribute to this site. I am a businessman from the Philippines and I graduated in 2008. I started a business straight out of college and it's been fairly successful but I'm looking for a change in my life and I am looking to live and work outside of my country. My goal is to enter either private equity, IB, or analyst for a hedge fund. I don't have stellar grades but my University is one of the top schools in my country. Right now I've applied to a few internships and entry level positions but I've gotten no luck so far. Can anyone give some advice where to start, what I should expect, should I take an MBA, or is there no chance. Thanks guys, your help is much appreciated.
