Advice needed -- late to the game

Hi guys,

Really enjoyed reading through everyone's advice. Here's the deal: I'm late to recruiting for next summer (as a current Junior).

I had though other career options were more interesting, but realized late how interested I am in investment banking. Since then, I've done WSP, created models for current companies, and hammered technicals. However, at the end of the day, I am still late to the process.

My background has solid experience--not very related to finance--but I have a 4.0 from a semi-target and strong extracurriculars.

I've reached out to as many people as I can find, but it's tough with most banks being done with recruiting. If anyone has any advice on where to look and what to do that would be much appreciate. The other option I have thought of is taking an internship after graduation but that is more down the line.

I would also look into rotational programs for recent graduates, but definitely try to network with people and do your research now so that you won’t miss a beat in senior year. I’m a recent grad from a NESCAC in a major not strictly finance-related and also missed all the major recruiting deadlines, but I was still able to land a meaningful finance job. Feel free to PM me if you wanna talk more.
