What's your GPA like? Have you had any previous experience? What sort of internship are you looking for - IB/ST/AM/etc? These are all questions that'll make it easier for us to give you some advice on your situation.
But regardless, there's still hope to finding an internship. A lot of boutiques haven't finished interviewing, and a lot of those with no formal program may have not even gotten someone asking about an internship, and all you have to do is be the guy that asks.
To be honest around 3(I dropped the ball 1st year and partied a lot). I haven't had investment experience. I have kept the books at a small business for a while so I have some finance experience. I’m looking for a summer internship, almost anything investing I have a real curiosity in but mainly ibd, asset management and private banking. I have no problem starting with shitty work and working my way up from the bottom. Can you give me a few names for examples of boutiques you mean. I guess just cold call/email? thanks
