American Considering Investment Banking in Europe

Hi everyone,

Per the title, I am a US university student in my final year of study considering investment banking in Europe, particularly within London or Milan (I have family in Italy near Milan). I did not start to consider investment banking until my junior year and by that point it was too late to be considered for internships. I have recently become aware of off-cycle internships in Europe and I am actively considering this as Plan B since receiving any full-time offers seems unlikely. I am willing to delay graduation one semester if need be to break into the industry. Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.
