I would say all the bigger firms have formal processes and have already selected their finalists. Your best bet is to do some personal networking and asking to anyone who's receptive, to come in and help. Paid vs unpaid should be up to them since at this point you're probably at their mercy anyways. Try some smaller to mid size firms.
Thanks! I have one more question. According to WSO forum, I should not ask for any job or internship opportunity while networking, but in this case, I am looking for a position which I can start asap... Should I mention that I am looking for an internship opportunity in the first email or so...?
