Anyone ever been hired without an in person interview?
Had an interview with the team leader today on the phone - one with his boss on Monday over the phone. Already had one with HR over the phone. Not sure who they could pass me on to next for the in person if they were to have one and they need an immidiate hire so not sure why they wouldn't try to have me come in. Seems strange.
I have received an offer without an in person interview before... but this wasn't for high finance.

I had 2 interviews over the phone for a one year internship at a BB and was hired. The job and my current location were in separate continents though, so I'm not sure if it applies to you.

Thanks - Same continent, different coast. I've worked with the same firm before in a different role so that could be a contributing factor as well - but its a mission critical role, fairly high up the chain from an intern so I thought in person was a guarentee. Also Arsene's Father, big game this weekend!
