APAC VS United States for front office roles??? HELP!!!
I'm a 20 year old kid from a non-target (Pace University) graduating in exactly a year from now. I originally attended Baruch College for 3 years however, I transfer out to Pace because I needed the GPA reset. My GPA currently is 3.8. For the past 3 years, I have been working full time on the retail side of JPM. Currently, I have my series 6 and 63 through JPM. I'm looking to break into a front office analyst role in S&T or IBD, nothing specific. Because, I just want to get my feet in the door first. I do speak Mandarin not fluent but at a professional level. Can some give me some insight on whether I should try for roles in APAC? I also spoke to several head MD within S&T from JPM, they told me that they stay in touch with me if anything opens up. However, they also recommend me to take a look into middle office support roles and also AM / CB. Any thoughts on that?
