Applying to firms . Tis the season.

Hi guys,

Could some of you provide me with some experienced insight on whether or not applying to firms at this time of year (more specifically the next two weeks) would be ineffective. Would it be to my benefit to network these next two weeks and start applying Jan 2nd?

I appreciate the help.

Cheers,

Paul

As long as you apply before the deadline, you'll be fine. In terms of networking, now is probably the worst time to be doing it. The last thing someone wants to see during their Christmas vacation is an email from a student asking for a phone call.
