Army Logistics Officer, non-target New England, 2.94 GPA looking for IBD Analyst Job in Boston or New York
I have a year left in the Army and am looking to transition into I-banking, and, eventually, into M&A or PE. I have a double major in finance and marketing (latter is irrelevant) and minor in econ from a non-target with a 2.94 GPA. Senior year I started focusing on my military training more and less on class, not knowing it would put me in a bad spot. I'm taking CFA I in Dec. and then (if I pass) CFA II in June, but I still feel like my poor GPA is going to hurt me. Any advice? Thanks.
