Asset Management Institutional Sales Analyst - what do they do?
What does an institutional sales analyst in AM do? I know analysts in equity sales call up the buy-side and try to sell them stocks all day; I imagine it's different in AM (are they calling pension funds all day trying to get them to pump more into the AM's fund?). Or is it more of a relationship management type of role?
What would the compensation/exit opps be for an AM sales analyst?
