Audit vs Restructuring
Hi Everyone.
Recently, I received an audit offer from Big 4 and a Restructuring offer from FTI Consulting for my graduate job. May I know which offer should I take if I would like to pursue an M7 MBA / career in mgm consulting / ibank fo in the future ?
Thank you for your advice!!
Restructuring consulting, then move to a restructuring IB after a year or so.
Would you recommend starting at an RX IB straight away instead? I have offers from a top RX Consulting firm (A&M/FTI) and another from a low-tier RX IB (think Piper/GLC/Baird). Curious to get your take
GLC and Baird arent bad def middle tier Rx shops. That would probably be better than restructuring consulting.
From what I've heard, Baird just started their RX group... How can they be a mid-tier RX group?
You're right in that it just started. But they have a new MD from gugg and a director from Lazard, also Baird has a ton of relationships from its other groups. They will do well.
Also if you have a banking offer why even consider audit lol it should be consulting vs banking
Didn't mean to hijack the thread, I'm not the OP. I was asking for my own personal situation since you seemed familiar with the RX space.
