Auditing to Finance: Seeking Guidance for Career Transition in NYC

I'm a Greek professional currently working at Deloitte Greece as a senior assistant auditor mainly doing audits for Cayman Funds and I'm looking to transition to a finance role in New York. I was hoping to connect with others in the forum who might be able to offer me advice on the job search process.

I'm particularly eager to connect with Greek monkeys who have experience in the finance sector in New York.

If anyone has any advice or connections they'd be willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it.
