Background Check - Not on the payroll
I accepted an offer and the co is currently running a back ground check. My last job was at a Hedge Fund as a consultant. I was not on the payroll. I have given the Admin's contact info and the verifying company can call and get the details. Now this is a small very private hedge fund and you can look up only very limited info on them (like most hedge funds :)). Do you guys thing this will be a problem? I have a squeaky clean background. Am I worrying too much? Do I need to take a chill pill?
Don't worry about it - as long as you gave them the phone number of someone at the fund who can verify your existence you're 100% O.K.
