Strange you listed crappy part time jobs you had in college, sometimes less is more my man.

If you’re telling the truth and all you did was quit abruptly, shouldn’t be an issue and this is a good learning lesson for you to be more thoughtful on these things. Just list proper jobs next time, no one cares about random part-time college gigs.

Unless you did something shady or someone at these places really has an axe to grind, you’ll be fine. Background checks are very high level and are used simply to confirm attendance at colleges and former employers, make sure you’re not an ex-con and to make sure you don’t have terrible credit, that’s it. They are not there to find reasons not to hire you.

Okay thanks, this is reassuring. Yes, all I did was quit abruptly, honestly I was a really good employee until then. I listed them because the screening company asked for my full employment history, and I read that if you omit even small, insignificant things, it could get your offer rescinded for dishonesty.

Thanks for the reply.
