BAML QTrading vs Citadel FTAP

Hello,

I'm a cs student and got some offers from

BAML Quantitative Trading Group and

Citadel FTAP

Eventually I want to work as Quantitative Researcher of quant funds or prop firms.

BAML QTG Pros : Small prop group, experience all position, relaxed environment Cons : Relatively low prestige, position is not specified (Could work more for developing), Relatively low salary

Citadel FTAP Pros : Top group, finance class training, High salary, exit opportunity Cons : Basically FTAP is heavy IT program, which could be end up with developer, Stressful environment

Basically I am considering between How I can involve to research and trading in BAML vs How useful financial training and class in FTAP

while I am thinking masters after several years. Thank you

Yeah, heinfo, I had the same concerns with FTAP (they were recruiting at our school recently). I'm not even sure if you could move to a more trading-based position with that, so it didn't sound great to me.
