barcap HR vs UBS ops spring week
Basically, I don't know much about IB but I've applied for spring weeks and has been offered a place from RBS (ops), UBS (ops) and Barcap (HR). I will definitely be doing RBS..but I have to decide between UBS and Barcap as they clash on the same week. Which spring week would look more impressive on a CV ?

Since UBS and Barcap are the only mutually exclusive, go for UBS and RBS.
Are you basing this on reputation? or division?
Yes, I have ranked them in general perceived reputation, but of course that is subjective. Also ops is much more banking-related that HR. So it's a no brainer, really.

Yea both rbs/ubs are in tough shape but this is europe which fares better and besides you won't have to worry about the bank during a spring rotation, especially if you're doing ops.
do ops over HR, but the important thing is to make some solid connections and then leverage them into something you'd like to do full time/SA (Maybe S&T, IB, etc)
