BB Lateral Situation!

Hey Everyone,

Needed an outside opinion on an opportunity to lateral as an associate to a BB. This is an "off-cycle" job opportunity. Wondering if I am still in the running.

Thursday Oct 1st - Director viewed my LinkedIn. I reached out and setup coffee just to network. After 30mins chatting, director said they were impressed I reached out. Told me that their team was looking to fill a position that was previously posted. Was unimpressed with the candidates they interviewed, so they didn't hire and are currently looking for individuals. Asked if I wanted to apply. Also mentioned that they were currently in the middle of a deal.

Friday Oct 2nd - Submitted my CV. Director said good grades, we will be in touch next week.

Friday Oct 16th - Director reaches out to setup interview. Apologies they took longer than a week, and says they were busy with a deal.

Monday Oct 19th - Interviewed with 5 people (including Managing Director and Country Head of the group.)

Tuesday Oct 20th - Managing Director and Country Head group says they want to bring me in Friday.

Friday Oct 23rd - Met with Managing Director and Global Head of group. No apparent red flags in the interview. He ends the interview by saying that he was to talk with the team. I receive no exact dates.

Today is Thursday Oct 29th - I have heard nothing from the BB.

Do you think that I got dinged, there are other candidates?

And do you think I need to follow-up?
