Financo (recently acquired by Raymond James) is probably the best consumer-focused boutique. If you're looking for a larger platform with a consumer group, I would second CVP.
My understanding of Sawaya is that it's a very strong platform that focuses mainly on middle market transactions, while Financo is competing in a more upper-middle market / large cap market. Financo is competing with BBs, while Sawaya is mostly competing against MMs and regional branches of BBs. PJ Solomon I would consider a larger elite boutique with a very strong consumer arm (ie closer to CVP than Financo / Sawaya, which are pure consumer-focused banks).
I also think Financo has a much stronger focus (in fashion, especially) than Sawaya, which has less of a focus and is just generally a great firm for MM C&R M&A.

Probably Centerview I think. Blair Effron is phenomenal.

Mentioned Financo but not PJ Solomon or Sawaya? Interesting. Those three are probably the best consumer focused boutiques.
