Big 4 transaction services vs Research firms

I am currently working in Advisory department at one of the big 4s in India and have two offers on the table. One is for transaction services in another big 4 and another for Investment Banking Team in one of the financial research KPOs. Which one of these would be more relevant and helpful in case I want to move to front end role in I-Banks 5-8 years down the line?

Also, is working in research KPOs a good career decision?
