Biophysics Ph.D seeking advice on building resume and searching jobs(consulting or finance)

Hi, All, I am going to graduate May, 2015 and seeking advice on building resume and searching jobs.
1. I have GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0.
2. Preparing June, 2014 CFA level 1
3. Oversaw accounting department of a small non-profit organization for 3 years as volunteer
4. worked as financial analyst in a very small family owned company in 2008 summer.
5. I am an international student.
I am seeking a career of financel/consulting in US.
My questions are:
1. Is it very hard for me to break into financial/consulting?
2. What should I do from this point on?
3. What kind of entry level finance/consulting jobs are out there?
4. Does MBA really matter much in finance/consulting?
