BofA rejected me then reinstated my application - should I bother?
Context: Applying for SA roles and I applied to the BofA IBD Summer Analyst program.
I got a rejection email from them 2 days ago but then today I got an email from them telling me after reviewing my application they have reinstated my application and would like to invite me to an online interview.
I wanted to know if this was something normal that's happened to anyone before, or should I be worried/assume that I am not going to get further after the online interview regardless of my performance?
Yeah it definitely sounds like a strange situation. But yeah take the interview, you have nothing to loose, everything to gain!

Either way it is good practice. Prepare well and go for it. The work you put in isn't for this job, it's so you can be polished for the next opportunity.
Once you get to the next round the last one matters a whole lot less- if you kill the interview this won’t matter at all
