Boutique IBs - Internship Possible?
Is it possible to still find an internship for this summer at a boutique IB in New York?
I’ve seen posts about cold emailing and I think I’m going to do that. What would you guys say I study/go over if I get phone calls with people from these boutiques to land an internship starting June/July?
You can try... Email is going to have to be really good though. You can't sound too vague.
Probably too late man I don’t know why you decided to start now but even unpaid roles have capacity limits due to lack of deal flow at smaller places as well as staff to train/help you. I would just settle for a search fund they seem to be recruiting pretty heavy on searchfunder.com

Its never too late for anything. Mass email, cold email, cold call. Whats the worst that can happen to you? Just widen your nets apply to PE, search funds, boutique tiny ib whatever. You might underestimate the market for unpaid labor. The time u spent writing this post could be used to draft emails. Good luck
