Campus Resume Drop & Online Apps - Different Divisions
I tried searching for this but to no avail. Two months ago I applied to Goldman online for the GIR SA positions, but I just submitted my resume to a campus resume drop for Goldman's Securities division. It looks like they are only recruiting for this division. I am also supposed to apply online for this position, but I don't think it is even possible since I already applied to the GIR division. I know the online app is more for HR purposes so that they have me in the system, but since I didn't actually apply to the division that they are recruiting on campus for, should I be worried?
Er this seems like a clear cut logistical issue - reach out to a GS recruiter and ask them, but overall you will eventually have to apply online to any position you're hired for due to legal issues.
