Can a new CPA switch to finance?

I'm new to this site and would like to ask for your help. I need some advice on how to market myself for finance jobs. I'm used to harsh critics so feel free to be honest, that's what I want.

I'm 21 and currently working in public accounting, not Big 4 but in the top 10. I'll have my CPA in a few months. I graduated from a no name state school in 3 years with a 3.8 + GPA, leadership positions, research assistant, held two part time jobs, and went on a full ride (which is why I went there, got into targets but couldn't afford them even with scholarships). My BS is in FInance and Accounting.

My main questions are what can I do to learn more about the different opportunities that are out there, especially since I am not eligible for internships and it will be harder to get noticed because of this. Obviously, I've been to all the big websites, but their descriptions don't really mean shit. Also, I know CPA doesn't really mean much in finance, but will this at least show that I am hard working and analytical? I can learn anything and am willing to put in some hard work to get where I want to be. I am not looking to make a sudden change either, I'd like to stay at my current job for at least another year or so. Finally, would you suggest going to a better school for a MFin or MBA before making the switch?
