ok so i did sth kinda stupid. fake 2 grades in my unofficial transcript and send it off. accepted offer and waiting to do background check. overal gpa just inflate like 0.1. employer is a BB.
just want to check if the background check company gonna compare my unofficial to my official transcript? or they just need my grad cert which still show i got the same summa cum laude?

why would you risk it all for a .1 difference? I think when I did my background check they just check that you are enrolled at the Uni, matching the grad year to what you provided. Not sure they have access to transcripts like that. IDK. However, they definitely could get access. would probably put it at somewhere between 70/30 and 80/20
70/30 meaning 70% i can get caught or can get around it?
I heard friends from other banks need to submit official transcript. i dont mind submitting it, just don't want to to see 2 different grades.
