Can I put the people I networked with on the question "Do you have anyone that you have a close personal relationship with who is currently employed by the Firm or any of its subsidiary companies"?
I see one of the application websites listing a question "Do you have anyone that you have a close personal relationship with who is currently employed by the Firm or any of its subsidiary companies?" I wonder if I should put on the person I networked with on there? I have a decent call with them a couple of days ago, but I am just want to make sure how the terminology of "close relationship person" can be applied. Additionally, this question is definitely not asking for the relatives, which is asked in another.

I think when they ask about family or close relationship, they are asking for legal reasons (nepotism etc) vs. who you know. Usually an application will ask if someone referred you (if they care)

No, that would be detriment for you since you cannot interview with the firm possibly then. If they ask “anyone who referred you to the role?” You can put that name. Hardly anyone asks that nowadays though.
