Can I still get an unpaid fall internship in Toronto?

Hope all of you are staying safe, I am going into my junior year at an undergrad business school in Canada and I would like to take a year off, right now being the best time to take a year off, and intern at a firm as my internship this summer got cancelled. My biggest problem is most paid places have hiring freezes and I can only justify taking a year off if I am gaining some relevant job experience. Does anyone have any advice on how I could land an unpaid internship, preferably at a boutique, in the next few weeks. Thank you!
