Can someone offer me some advice?
I'm currently a sophomore at a non-target in the process of looking for internships. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any, but after doing some research I came across a few small firms in my area. There is one in particular I'm extremely interested in. I have sent them a few emails through the past 3 months asking if they offer internship opportunities, but have yet to receive a reply. Would it be a good idea to show up to this firm in person, and ask or does that seem too desperate? Thanks!
You need to reevaluate your approach. You have sent numerous emails over the course of 3 months with no reply. Now you are considering going in person because, well, summer is faster approaching. Why don't you pick up the damn phone?
Contact them by phone or directly via email before showing up in person. Leave messages if you have to
