Can you negotiate an offer as a campus hire?
Can you negotiate an offer as a campus hire or do you need more leverage to do so?
I am graduating this December and got an 2024 offer for CAD 75k at some tech consulting firm. However, the US offer is USD 75k (which is CAD 100k). Obviously, I won't ask for CAD 100k because the market is different, etc. However, do you think I could still negotiate towards CAD 85k? Since Big4 and Tier 2 offer around this amount. They already have a 5k signing bonus, so I am hesitant. Thoughts?
