Just got invited to a dinner with one of the Big 5's! CIBC and Scotia's deadlines are tomorrow at my school. I heard that you're supposed to know the result around 2 days after the submission deadline though.
Have had one interview and another coming up on Friday. Rejected from one bank and two still outstanding.
How do you know that you were rejected? I thought they won't notify those who don't pass the resume-screening.
Networked with the bank and the guy e-mailed me to explain why.

2-3 I think, I don't remember exactly when the deadline passed. This is for IB.
Just heard back from another Canadian Big 5 for IBD.
Heard from RBC, anyone hear from CIBC?
CIBC was interviewing at my school today. Second rounds are Thursday for Toronto.
Have a first round at CIBC S&T this week, haven't heard from Banking yet.
BMO S&T just emailed invitations out.
So far, I only have one S&T interview and the PST test with McKinsey (which I haven't heard back yet).. This year sucks.
Are these analyst or associate positions?
