Recruiter sounds like a dumbass
I'd be skeptical of someone with public sector experience. Everything is backwards in the government (same as utilities). In the government, the more you spend, the better. If you have leftover budget money, then obviously you need less next year.
Hiring someone from the public sector would be at the bottom of my list if I'm a recruiter.
not to mention that recruiting is tough this year... so keep trying and best of luck.

How has it been with other students in your batch ? Am curious because I am also pursuing masters in finance from a non target school and have always dreamt of being at ur university..
