Capital Group Internship- (EACG) Client Group Role

What would this entail? I got to the final round of my top choice then got rejected over the summer, haven't gotten any offers since and it's getting quite late in the recruiting season so I'm worried about 'striking out'.

I'm at a top UK target, applying for second year internships. Most interested in ER and aim to work in L/S (or other HF investing styles), but have applied to IB and other related roles. Have no offers.

I am wondering about what Capital Group's client group internship may entail, specifically in relation to my career aspirations. Is it likely that I am 'screwed' (i.e. do I have a realistic shot at IB-related jobs, specifically ER, or instead L/S style roles)?

As a sidenote, does anyone have any recommendations about what to do? I have been very unhappy after I got to the final round for Citadel's L/S role as I feel like I peaked then. Can I realistically get into 'high' finance anymore (especially given the terribly job market nowadays)?
