Career Advice- 1 Year Postgrad, in Corpdev

Hello,

Looking for career advice as I feel like my situation is very unique. Some background: Graduated from an elite state school (UMich, Berkley, UCLA, etc), high GPA/good extracurriculars, ended up starting out in Corpdev, at a NYC middle market healthcare rollup (very acquisitive). Below I left a screenshot of this experience on my resume for some further context. I feel I got quite lucky landing this as I had some health issues in college that required a couple years off and ruined chances of elite IB/consulting type roles.

I'm about 1 year in and it's going well, but I don't think there's much room to grow at the company, and the pay isn't great, although the work is interesting.

I'm here mostly to inquire about what options people think I have, as I don't know what's available. As for my interests, I really enjoyed the more theoretical/quantitative finance coursework, so I guess I'd enjoy roles that are as cerebral/quantitative/complex as possible: hedge funds or complicated types of private credit/equity (not sure what these would be but I'd guess distressed, infrastructure, other niche stuff). I have also done very intricate modeling/coding in my job, which I enjoyed.

I probably wouldn't take a role that's more than ~65 hours of work per week, so I'm guessing that counts out most if not all of PE. Pay is a high priority, but I know that not working long hours would likely reduce it. I'm willing to go to business school but would preferably avoid it. Flexible on location, but ideally Texas.
