Career evolution tips?
Hi all,
I will soon start an internship in the BO of a BB. I couldn’t land a mid/front office role so far and would like to know your views on my career prospects. I will finish my MSc next year and don’t think I’ll land a FO job.
Problem is my profile is very data / quant oriented, I think it scares folks in FO jobs.
I thought about getting the CFA once I start a full time job but I’m not sure where it will lead me, AM, ER… Maybe WM?
I’m just trying to get a good job with good evolution and pay. I think IB is a bit dead in the spot for me but don’t rule it out completely.
